This is a particularly pleasant energy pattern and is good for doing anything with others and creates the desire for camaraderie. Take some time out to enjoy the company of others and spend time relaxing.  Generally, love relationships are favoured under this influence and if you're out to impress someone this energy will be helpful however as Mars (assertiveness) passes through your second house (values) much will depend on how intact your ego is. The downside will be if you don't feel as if you have achieved satisfactorily it is likely you may become somewhat sensitive and take situations and people's comments to heart. Alternatively if you feel you are in a good place you will be willing to share your possessions to get things done is to. The key will be to approach people and situations from a balanced perspective and not try and force your thoughts or beliefs down their throat! A little patience will go a long way to winning people over.
Be aware that an issue at home or with family members with your parents or older individuals is likely with the New Moon in your the fourth solar house.  You may decide to have a clean out of your room (if you're living at home) or your house if you have a place of your own. As the fourth house is the house of endings and beginnings this can be a month where you resolve any outstanding issues and commence making plans to move forward.

The Year Ahead

A slower start to the year than you would probably like and it is quite possible that if you are formulating plans for 2009 they will change by the time February gets here.  Although you're keen to get going, take it easy because you were just about to complete a two-year cycle and begin anew.  By the end of May you will be fully immersed in beginning a new two-year cycle.  From this point, take action!

It is a time when the Arians sense of their ego and physical energy is likely to run high. The best way to deal with this influx of energy is to do some heavy physical work or exercise which is a great leveller.

For those of you born at the beginning of the sign, Pluto's transformative energies will bring in issues about power, control, and the desire to have what you want under any circumstances.  Avoid the tendency to become aggressive or frustrated.
