You’ll have a strong desire to connect with the opposite sex and you will be more assertive to see that this happens. You will work hard to gain the approval of others and will seek to express your passions physically and therefore you will be far more interested in the sexual side of a relationship rather than the sensual side.  Alternatively you may channel this energy into your creative processes and general self-expression. During this transit you may find yourself acting as peacemaker for other people or acting as a go between to help smooth over people's differences.
As the month progresses the energy shifts and will favour financial negotiations. If you are involved in any financial transactions they should go smoothly and borrowing money should not be too difficult. Although this particular transit favours investment you still need to exercise discretion because of the global economic crisis. As an alternative to fluctuating or low share prices, you may consider investments in jewellery, art or other associated items. One thing is sure you will most certainly be in the mood to lavish something on yourself.
Generally, you will find this to be a very busy month, with lots of activity short trips and visiting others. You may receive news during the month and correspondence that relates to your personal matters which may correspond to an important decision you need to make.  If you have brothers and sisters it is highly likely that you may be in contact with them more this month than normal.

The Year Ahead

The New Year starts off with quite a comfortable flow. You are able to move forward with your typical comfortable and steady fashion.  To help you achieve your goals you will be touched by Jupiter (expansion and growth) during the year, however on a mundane level, watch the waistline!

Venus (Love or money) and your ruler, will go backwards from March 6, 2009 - April 17 2009.  Expect a few setbacks to your plans. Step back and rethink, refocus and adjust as necessary. During that period, take some time to reflect knowing that nothing is wrong, it is just the universe saying, take some time out.

The middle of the year will see you have a sense of renewed energy and vitality.  This will be a great time for you to forge ahead, and you will find that people will be open to your ideas or suggestions, and any new direction you set.  It is also a good time to engage in some good physical activity.  As a Taurean, keeping physical activity as part of your normal health regime is important.  Apart from the fact it is a great leveller, it also enables you to build stamina and use up some of those extra calories and balance your tendency to indulge in food and drink!

For those born towards the end of the sign, June to December presents opportunities for you to do things differently. This energy will help you to be comfortable with the process. By year end you should be well pleased with your achievements!

Taureans present themselves as solid, steady, reliable and generally conservative individuals. Interestingly, they value permanency and seek to build security through the acquisition of material possessions. They also seek stability in relationships, career and family matters, and can unfortunately have a dreadful temper which may undermine attempts to have the very stability they seek. Generally they are slow to anger but when they get going... look out! Their shadow takes over and possessiveness, jealously and the need to control characterise their behaviour, yet when their shadow is not in control they are patient and exhibit plenty of charm, warmth and affection.

Often they excel in business and have innate ability to make money and do so by taking one step at a time building a solid structure from which to grow. In pursuit of their goals, whether it is business or something else, they are so determined they outlast weaker competitors and so achieve their dreams. They do the work, they keep going and they overcome the obstacles. Did I also mention they are stubborn; this sign is the epitome of stubbornness.

Many of our Taurean friends have a strong connection to the earth and love to be on the land or love their garden. They find tremendous psychological comfort in the garden and if an artistic streak manifests you might find them doing pottery or sculpting. Hard physical exercise helps control and eliminates stress and tension.

Mentally they like to think things through in logical steps before acting. This can make them appear slow yet there's a considerable amount of constructive thought that goes on inside the Taurean head. Their ideas won't necessarily be wildly creative or even original unless something else is activating their horoscope. They like to plan and can be upset if deviations occur, in fact flexibility is a quality they could do well to appreciate as not all things run to plan... so plan for that and have a contingency.

Relationships are characterised by possessiveness and jealousy. You will become their possession and they will protect you fiercely. They are very loyal and expect the same in return. They are often more sensual than sexual. They have a highly developed sense of touch and in addition to the application in creative pursuits may use this as a key form of communication, particularly in relationships. Massage, (along with good food) often sooth the soul. A word of warning, never betray the Taurus. If you do, they will be devastated and suffer terribly and ultimately so would you!
